Sprint is hoping to capitalize on warming relations between the United States and Cuba.

Sprint's prepaid brand Boost is launching a new plan that will allow U.S. residents to call and text the country.

According to a press release, Boost's new "Cuba Monthly Connect" plan includes unlimited talk, text and data with 15 minutes per month of voice calling to Cuba and unlimited international texting from anywhere in the United States.

As part of the new focus on Cuba, Boost says it will donate $10,000 to Roots of Hope, an student-run organization that seeks to improve quality of life for youth in Cuba.

News of the new plan comes and President Obama has eased relations with Cuba and only just this week announced that he would be removing Cuba from a list of countries that sponsor terrorism.
