Openwave Mobility today announced that Telus has selected Openwave Mobility’s Media Optimizer, a video optimization solution that enables mobile operators to optimize web and video traffic while also managing congestion down to individual subscribers, thereby improving their video QoE. SK Telecom announced that it has entered into a contract with Auto Meister Sdn Bhd, an electronics retailer in Malaysia, to export Smart Beam to the Malaysian market following launches in the European markets.
