Sprint has unveiled its Sprint PCS Smart Device BlackBerry 7250. The carrier is offering the device to its business customers.
The 7250 supports BlackBerry Enterprise Server v4.0 software features. Sprint is currently marketing the device and the BlackBerry Enterprise Server or BlackBerry Internet Service.
The 7250 supports e-mail, phone, enterprise data, Internet, text messaging, organizer applications and Bluetooth connectivity.
The Sprint PCS Smart Device BlackBerry 7250 carries a suggested retail price of $489.99, but Sprint customers can purchase the device for less thanks to available contract credits and other instant savings, the carrier says.
Sprint is not the only company to offer the BlackBerry 7250. In the United States, the mobile device also is available from Alltel, EarthLink Wireless, Verizon Wireless and Telecommunication Systems. Bell Canada and Telus offer the 7250 in Canada, according to Research In Motion.
