The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) today released its 2014 Innovation Agenda, which identifies the organization’s tech and telecom policy priorities for the year ahead. The Innovation Agenda is focused on three high level goals: Drive Investment, Recapture Global Investment, and Enable Forward-Looking Technologies. Wilson Electronics has signed an agreement with the Authorized Integrators Network (AiN) Group of GE Home & Security Technologies dealers serving the residential and commercial building industry. The agreement will make Wilson signal boosters and related products available to the extensive AiN Group member base of consumer electronics product installers. AiN Group members will receive personalized service from a dedicated Wilson inside sales representative.
The Media Trust today announced the release of Mobile Scanner, a subscription-based service that immediately detects and stops mobile redirects before they can negatively impact the user experience and revenues for publishers, ad networks, exchanges and Demand Side Platforms (DSPs). Designed specifically for the mobile ecosystem, this new service scans client's mobile websites, applications and ad tags on a constant, 24/7 basis, ensuring immediate detection of mobile redirects on pre-scan as well as any changes in flight. Mobile Scanner customizes the level of daily scans performed based on the specific security needs of each client.
Mobily, a telecom operator in Saudi Arabia, has selected Nokia Solutions and Networks’ Single RAN (radio access network) and comprehensive services, including refarming of the GSM 900 MHz band to 3G. NSN will upgrade Mobily’s 2G, 3G (WCDMA) and TD-LTE networks in the central region including Riyadh, the largest city in the country. As committed in July last year, the operator is undertaking major network upgrades and expansions.
