Google has teamed up with automotive and technology leaders Audi, GM, Honda, Hyundai and Nvidia to form the Open Automotive Alliance (OAA), a global alliance aimed at accelerating auto innovation with an approach that offers openness, customization and scale.

Compatible with the LiFi (Light Fidelity) protocol, Wysips Connect technology not only enables screens and mobile products to produce energy but also to receive and emit data transmitted by light waves (VLC-Visible Light Communication) without electric power from the device battery.
Bitcasa, a cloud storage company, announced that the Bitcasa platform is now free to download on the newly launching Samsung Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO as part of Samsung’s exclusive content. With Bitcasa, consumers using Samsung Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO can free up local storage, stream HD media, privately share large files and access content on their Samsung tablets across multiple platforms.
Novatel Wireless, Inc. today announced that its MiFi 5510 mobile hotspot is now available to support Verizon Wireless’ regional partners and B13 (700 MHz) carriers in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
