Pioneer Electronics Inc. today introduced nine new CD receivers and one digital media receiver for 2015. The new lineup is integrated with technologies including Bluetooth Dual Device Connection, Bluetooth pairing via USB, Wideband Speech Hands free Profile 1.6, Bluetooth Music Library Browsing (AVRCP 1.5). Siri Eyes Free functionality, simple Pandora station creation, and Android Media Transfer Protocol (MTP).
Anritsu Corporation announced it has entered in to a Manufacturing Test License (MTL) agreement with Broadcom Corporation. Anritsu's modular MT8870A Universal Wireless Test Set enables cellular, wireless connectivity, location-based services (LBS), and other technologies to be tested in a single solution. Through the MTL agreement, Anritsu is able to provide certified calibration and verification test solutions to Broadcom WLAN and Bluetooth customers.
GUESS Watches, an international fashion watch company, and Martian Watches, a California-based smartwatch developer, today announced a global strategic partnership to develop interactive, voice-command wrist accessories. The companies expect to announce specific products by early 2015.
NetMotion Wireless, provider of mobility management solutions for enterprises with mobile workforces, announced enhanced functionality for its Locality Server 2.1, and the latest Mobility 10.51 software. Locality Server 2.1 can now export geo-tagged signal coverage and quality data for upload into GIS systems. It also provides tracking for GPS status, allowing organizations to identify faulty GPS devices, spot sub-optimal performance and monitor employee GPS usage.
