ZTE Corporation has unveiled the ZXONE 9700 Packet OTN series, its next generation packet optical transport platform (P-OTP). The ZXONE 9700 series features universal packet and optical data unit (ODU) switching capability, supports network evolution to beyond 100G and is compatible with software defined networking (SDN) technologies.

Nexmo, a cloud communication API company, today announced a partnership with global start-up accelerator, Wayra.  Wayra promotes innovation and identifies talent in Latin America and Europe in the fields of Internet and new Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The partnership between Nexmo and Wayra provides companies participating in the accelerator with access to Nexmo’s communications-as-a-service solutions and cloud-based APIs at a reduced price.

Telenor Global Services (TGS), the international carrier of the Telenor Group, and Vodafone Carrier Services, a  wholesale telecommunications provider, today announced an IPX Interconnect and a LTE/4G Peering Agreement.

NETGEAR, Inc. today announced the new Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Tri-Band WiFi Router (R8000), a tri-band WiFi router available for purchase incorporating the new Broadcom 5G WiFi XStream platform. With six antennas and three network bands, one 2.4GHz and two 5GHz, the Nighthawk X6 delivers a combined WiFi speed of up to 3.2 Gbps* (1300+1300+600 Mbps*).
