Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. today announced that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and Qualcomm Gobi 9x35 modem are powering the Samsung Galaxy S5 Broadband LTE-A in Korea, the world's first commercially available LTE Advanced Cat 6 smartphone.

Ventev Wireless Infrastructure, a division of TESSCO Technologies Incorporated, today introduced three new TerraWave LTE-band Mobile Antennas that ensure cellular connectivity even in remote locations. These mobile antennas support 3G/LTE, SCADA, wireless backhaul and broadband communications for applications such as asset tracking/RFID and remote monitoring (M2M), fleet management and public safety in the energy (utility, oil and gas), industrial, warehouse and transportation sectors. 

D-Link today announced it is now shipping a new Wi-Fi Motion Sensor. The compact motion sensor plugs into an open power outlet and alerts users of activity at home with a push or text notification as soon as it detects motion. D-Link today also announced the mydlink Home mobile app for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, providing instant control over D-Link smart devices. In addition to being a mobile device a remote control for D-Link smart products, the free mobile app can also be used to pair D-Link smart devices together.

SanDisk will showcase some of its latest products at Africa’s first ever DISTREE in Kenya, which kicks off today.
