EXFO Inc. announced it has acquired the business of Aito Technologies, a provider of customer experience analytics for mobile network operators (MNOs), through an asset purchase deal. Based in Espoo, Finland, Aito Technologies offers out-of-the-box customer experience analytics software that unifies business, network, product and customer data for real-time analysis, discovery, reaction and decision support.
Nuance Communications, Inc. announced that its Swype keyboard for Android smartphones and tablets is now the default keyboard for OPPO, a smartphone brand in China.
Novatel Wireless, Inc. announced it has begun commercial shipments of the SA 2100, a MiFi Powered M2M device, to Premier Wireless Solutions (PWS). Novatel Wireless’ SA 2100, approved on both Verizon Wireless and AT&T networks, fits into PWS’ portfolio of global telemetry and remote tracking solutions.
Syniverse inaugurated a new Bangalore office that will consolidate its services in India’s technology hub with a focus on delivering centralized support along with innovation to customers in India and around the world. Bringing together over 500 people from two former offices in Bangalore, the new office unites employees from Syniverse’s acquisition of MACH who became a part of Syniverse in 2013.
