M/A-COM Technology Solutions Inc., a supplier of RF, microwave, and millimeter wave products, today announced two new MMIC amplifiers for X-Band communication and radar applications. The company also today announced a new GaN on SiC HEMT Pulsed Power Transistor for civilian and military radar pulsed applications.

Trimble today announced the availability of the Trimble Irrigate-IQ precision irrigation solution in North America. Along with the North American launch, Trimble also introduced the Connected FarmIrrigate app, which provides farmers with real-time status and control of their pivot irrigation systems using a smartphone or tablet.

Three more companies will be attending the upcoming National Town Meeting on Demand Response and Smart Grid as members according to an announcement today by the Association for Demand Response & Smart Grid (ADS). The new members are Nest, C3 Energy, and Sensus.

Anritsu Company announces that it has achieved Global Certification Forum (GCF) approval of the ME7873L LTE RF/RRM Conformance Test System for three additional LTE-Advanced Carrier Aggregation (CA) band combinations. The new approvals increase the total offered on the ME7873L to five, including band combinations supporting North American, Japanese, and Korean operators.
