Lumos Networks Corp., a fiber-based service provider of data, voice and IP-based telecommunication services in the Mid-Atlantic region, today announced the selection of Cisco Systems, Inc. as its exclusive supplier of mission critical equipment for Project Ark, its new broadband MPLS/IP fiber network designed primarily to handle Fiber to the Cell site (“FTTC”) traffic within the Company’s network.

Novatel Wireless, Inc., a provider of intelligent wireless solutions, today announced that Simple Solutions (Electronics) Ltd., a technical supplier of M2M cellular products for the fleet, asset and industrial markets, will be expanding its role as a technical competence center in the UK region.

Ruckus Wireless, Inc. today unveiled a cloud-based Smart Wi-Fi Access Management Service (SAMS) that combines the scale and cost-effectiveness of cloud-based services with Smart Wi-Fi products and technology to let organizations design, manage and monetize Wi-Fi services from a 'point-and-click' cloud-based portal.

Brightstar Corp. announced today that, effective immediately, Vincent Donargo has joined the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
