FirstNews Briefs: Huawei, Siemens, Allot, Queclink, RacoWireless, Nextivity

Huawei and Siemens Convergence Creators jointly announced today that a strategic cooperation have been established between both companies for the development of end-to-end solutions for the critical communications market. Initial plans from the companies' joint cooperation have already begun with an agreement to operate a GSM-R laboratory in Croatia.

Allot Communications Ltd., a supplier of service optimization and revenue generation solutions for fixed and mobile broadband operators and cloud providers, today announced the launch of Allot Service Gateway Tera, a DPI-based platform built to power the deployment of Digital Lifestyle Services in fixed and mobile data networks on the path to software-defined networking (SDN) and cloud-based network services (NFV).

Queclink, a supplier of wireless M2M hardware solutions, has teamed with RacoWireless, a provider of M2M data solutions, to provide a bundled M2M solution that brings all pieces of the M2M ecosystem into one offer. Included with the development kits will be SIM cards that allow users to connect their solution to Raco’s worldwide carrier partners.

Nextivity Inc. today announced that its Cel-Fi Smart Signal booster for the AT&T network has now been certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
