Ericsson has introduced a new 50W DC/DC converter module that targets Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) applications. The new Ericsson PKU5510E converter features an ultra-wide input range of 18V to 75V, which means that the device is also suitable for 24V or 48V telecom systems.

zBoost, a provider of consumer cell phone signal booster kits, today announced the launch of the zBoost Mobile1, an in-vehicle cell phone signal booster, that creates a single user cell zone for more miles of uninterrupted voice and text service.

magicJack VocalTec, Ltd, a cloud-based communications company, today unveiled the updated magicJack mobile app – rebranded as magicApp – for free calling on Android devices. The updated magicApp offers free worldwide over-the-top calling.

RealNetworks, Inc. today announced that LISTEN, a new app combining music sharing, ringback tones and productivity tools, is now available for U.S. smartphone users via a partnership with T-Mobile. The app enables callers to hear music or status messages chosen especially for them.
