Crittercism Lands $30M in New Funding, Hits 1B Active Users
Crittercism today announced another $30 million in funding to expand its quickly growing business.
Crittercism provides a Mobile App Performance Management (mAPM) platform for businesses to monitor how their apps are performing in the wild.
The Series C round was led by Scale Venture Partners, with participation from InterWest Partners, and brings Crittercism’s total funding to more than $48 million. Both VMware and Accenture were also involved in the funding round.
Crittercism received initial funding of $1.3 million in 2011, eventually hitting 100 million active users in June of 2012. That trajectory has continued. Crittercism now estimates it has over 1 billion active users.
In a blog post on the company's website, Crittercism said it will use the funds to expand the feature set of its existing products, while also moving into international markets.
