Aviat Networks, Inc., a provider of microwave networking solutions, today announced the Aviat CTR 8000 microwave networking platform, a new solution for mobile operator networks. The first product in the CTR family is the CTR 8540 microwave router, a new microwave platform that includes a fully featured IP/MPLS router that combines microwave transport, Layer 2 Carrier Ethernet and Layer 3 IP/MPLS routing in the one box.

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise division is today introducing a suite of business communications and collaboration applications delivered as a service (AaaS) for individual employees, complete teams or departments of any size. Offered as a cloud-hosted overlay, the OpenTouch Personal Cloud (OTPC) enables enterprise end users to select the communications solutions that best fit their needs.

DataXoom Corp., a provider of mobile data services for businesses, has launched a new healthcare initiative targeting mobile, on-site, and in-home healthcare workers. DataXoom provides cellular data network connectivity for the tablets, mobile hotspots, and specialty devices used by mid- and large-sized businesses and runs on LTE, CDMA and GSM networks.

Armor5, creator of Zero-Touch Cloud Security, announced that it has extended its Zero Touch Cloud Security service to Google Apps for Business, including Google Gmail, Google Docs, Google Drive and Google Sheets.
