Smith Micro Software, Inc., a provider of wireless and mobility solutions, announced that its CommSuite premium services platform now includes Spanish transcriptions in its Voicemail-to-Text service. The new feature has been launched on the Sprint network, allowing subscribers to read Spanish voicemail messages as text within the Sprint Visual Voicemail inbox.

Tarana Wireless, a provider of universal wireless transport solutions, today announced the addition of its AbsoluteAir products to the Cisco Small Cell Wireless Backhaul Ecosystem. Tarana’s AbsoluteAir delivers deterministic performance at full capacity across “True NLoS”, nLoS, and LoS operation enabling service providers to deploy backhaul anywhere small cells are located.

iQmetrix, a provider of retail management software for independent North American wireless retailers, announced its acquisition of Zebop Wireless Information Inc. Zebop is a Vancouver-based company commonly known as Web Werkz, which specializes in building websites for independent wireless retailers.

Kaelus, a Smiths Microwave business, announced the launch of the Small Cell RF DAS Point of Interface (POI) Tray. This is a small form factor, low power tray designed specifically for Small Cell DAS deployments with multiple bands and technologies.
