Ting, a division of Tucows Inc., today announced that they will buy a cup of coffee for each of the 200 million AT&T and Verizon wireless customers in the United States. To earn their cup of joe, AT&T and Verizon customers simply need to check out how much they would save by switching to the upstart mobile service provider.

Broadcom Corporation today announced a new Automotive Bluetooth software stack, enabling in-car connectivity with Android-powered devices. Integrated Bluetooth Smart Ready technology syncs with wearable devices to monitor driver health and biometric indicators such as driver fatigue and blood alcohol content.

Celltick, a global provider of mobile initiated commerce, today announced its partnership with Yahoo to deliver a more engaging mobile experience to consumers via the start screen. The two companies have partnered to launch a Yahoo-branded Start for Android users. Yahoo will be the default search provider for Start in Asia Pacific and India. Users will also have access to Yahoo products like Weather, Flickr, Yahoo news and other Yahoo media properties on their Start screens.

PowerCloud Systems, a provider of cloud networking for the connected home, today announced that the company has made Skydog, its approach to managing home Internet use, available to community groups, such as schools, clubs and religious institutions through a special volume pricing program.
