Silicon Image, Inc., a provider of HD connectivity solutions, today announced a 4K Ultra HD MHL 3.0 solution comprising mobile transmitter, bridge, and multimedia switch integrated circuits (ICs). MHL is an HD and 4K Ultra HD connectivity standard for connecting a mobile device to large screen displays, while simultaneously charging the device.
