Ixia today announced the new WaveDevice test solution, which seeks to provide customers with a high-quality Wi-Fi experience every time. Mobile devices carry real-time applications and services, and WaveDevice leverages Ixia’s experience in testing and validating wireless LANs (WLANs) to ensure mobile devices stand up to the rigors of rapidly growing usage.

SkyCross, a global designer and manufacturer of antenna and RF solutions, today announced a new line of wireless networking device antennas operating at the 5GHz frequency and designed to support the 802.11ac WiFi specification. 

Netclearance Systems, Inc., a provider of cloud based in-venue mobile proximity, marketing, engagement and insight solutions, today unveiled a multi-mode beacon gateway software, m2GW, designed to enable scalable tracking of BLE tagged assets via Wi-Fi.

Verizon Wireless activated 120 new 4G LTE cell sites in Florida during October and November to reinforce the company’s most advanced wireless technology for customers across the state. The company has installed nearly 1,000 new 4G LTE sites so far in Florida during 2013.
