The free self-service applications, now available at the Google Play Store and Apple iTunes App Store, are developed and powered by Evolving Systems’ software. These new applications enhance the user experience for nTelos subscribers with convenient and real-time account access from any smartphone.
Qualcomm Incorporated (NASDAQ: QCOM) Monday announced the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset with integrated 4G LTE World Mode. The new Snapdragon 410 chipsets feature processors that are 64-bit capable along with better graphics performance with the Adreno 306 GPU, 1080p video playback and up to a 13 Megapixel camera. Snapdragon 410 chipsets integrate 4G LTE and 3G cellular connectivity for all major modes and frequency bands across the globe and include support for Dual and Triple SIM.
Escape Communications, a provider of microwave radio modem modules and "Indoor Units" (IDUs) and Altera Corporation today announced a multiyear agreement to engineer and deliver solutions that combine Altera's FPGA technology, and Escape Communications' expertise in digital signal processing, microwave RF design, and embedded software. The two will initially work to address the emerging millimeter-wave V-band (60 GHz) and E-band (70/80 GHz) all-outdoor radio (ODR) market, helping mobile operators maximize throughput capacity and spectrum efficiency and bring multi-channel functionality to their high-bandwidth data services that connect cell sites and the core network.
