Boku has acquired Qubecell, a direct carrier billing provider in India. The acquisition of Qubecell provides Boku with direct carrier billing connections with four of the largest carrier networks in India along with a number of key local merchant relationships. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Sierra Wireless today announced it has submitted a complaint with the European Commission (EC) against Nokia for anti-competitive behavior and a request for the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to start a formal investigation.

Isis, the mobile commerce joint venture created by AT&T Mobility, T-Mobile USA Inc. and Verizon Wireless, today announced the launch of the Isis Alliance Program. The Isis Alliance Program supports merchant technology ecosystem partners with exclusive tools and resources.

MetroPCS introduced the Samsung Galaxy Mega. The T-Mobile-owned carrier will be selling the phablet starting at $349.
