First News Briefs: AT&T, BlackBerry, Amdocs, Exalt Communications

Beginning Sept. 27, AT&T will offer the Samsung Galaxy S III mini for $0.99 with a two-year agreement. 

Amdocs, a provider of customer experience systems and services, today announced that Osnova Telecom, a national operator in Russia, has selected Amdocs Compact Convergence, under a managed services model, to support the commercial launch of its LTE network.

Exalt Communications, Inc., a provider of packet microwave backhaul systems, today announced that NEP Cellcorp of Forest City, PA has deployed Exalt ExploreAir microwave systems to backhaul LTE cellular traffic in its network.

BlackBerry is expanding its Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) Portfolio with BlackBerry Enterprise IM v3.1. Enterprise IM mobilizes desktop IM solutions to optimize communication and collaboration with secure and real-time messaging among colleagues, customers and partners across the street or globe.
