InterDigital today announced that its patent holding subsidiaries have amended their worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-bearing patent license agreement with Panasonic Mobile Communications to add coverage for 4G technologies, including LTE and LTE-Advanced.

Flowfinity Wireless today announced that it has extended its offline feature set for mobile enterprise applications. The new features are offered in Flowfinity Actions 7.5, the latest version of its highly flexible application software that supports cross-platform enterprise app creation without programming. Flowfinity Actions 7.5 will allow users to save current progress and switch between multiple Flowfinity apps with or without network connectivity. 

Nest Labs has announced plans to begin working with developers on creative ways to connect with the Nest Learning Thermostat through integrations such as home appliances, lighting and home automation. By introducing a Web API, Nest is taking the first step toward working with partners to build a simple, secure and connected experience for the home. The Nest Developer Program will officially kick off in early 2014. 

Ruckus Wireless announced today that several of its Smart Wi-Fi products are Wi-Fi Alliance (WFA) Passpoint certified. To achieve certification, several Ruckus ZoneFlex access points (APs), including the ZoneFlex 7372 and ZoneFlex 7351 indoor APs, and the ZoneFlex 7762 outdoor AP, plus the Ruckus ZoneDirector 3000 controller and Ruckus SmartCell Gateway (SCG) 200 have demonstrated interoperability with other Passpoint-certified equipment and devices.
