Orange announced the launch of Libon, its all-in-one communications app, on Android in the US. Available to download for free from Google Play, Libon now offers Android users free calls, smart messaging and personalized visual voicemail on Android as well as iOS.

Asiatelco Technologies Co., a worldwide provider of wireless terminals and equipment, announced a technology and product collaboration with Cluster Wireless that will offer Cluster Wireless M2M middleware and software tools in ATEL’s M2M products. Cluster Wireless specializes in developing software and tools for M2M ecosystems using its patent pending distributed mobile architecture.

Tsinghua Unigroup Ltd., an operating subsidiary of Tsinghua Holdings Co. Ltd., a solely state-owned limited liability corporation funded by Tsinghua University in China, and Spreadtrum Communications, Inc., a fabless semiconductor provider in China with technology in 2G, 3G and 4G wireless communications standards, today jointly announced that they have entered into a definitive merger agreement under which Tsinghua Unigroup will acquire all of the outstanding Ordinary Shares of Spreadtrum for US$31.00 per American Depositary Share (or $10.33 per Ordinary Share, each American Depositary Share representing three Ordinary Shares).

Lepow today announced Moonstone portable power banks/device chargers geared towards the women’s market. Available in 3000 mAh and 6000 mAh capacities, Moonstone charges smartphones and other devices on-the-go when an outlet or USB computer charge is not available.
