NTELOS Holdings Corp. today announced operating results for its second quarter ended June 30, 2013. Operating revenues for the second quarter 2013 increased 7.4 percent annually to $119.9 million. Total net subscriber additions were 3,800 for the second quarter 2013.
NaviSite today announced the results of a survey aimed at more than 700 IT decision makers to better understand their BYOD challenges and feelings toward using Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) to combat those challenges. The survey revealed that despite 80 percent of respondents agreeing that BYOD is the “new normal,” only 45 percent have a formal BYOD policy in their workplace and only 51 percent were considering DaaS as a solution to access data from their mobile devices.
Webalo today announced that its cloud-based, self-service platform for configuring smartphone and tablet access to enterprise applications and data has joined the Aruba Networks WorkSpace Apps Program and has been certified to work with Aruba WorkSpace.
Seven Networks today announced the promotion of two senior technology executives, Chaitali Sengupta and Ari Backholm. Sengupta was promoted to Chief Technology Officer and will be responsible for SEVEN Networks product strategy, system architecture and new technology. Backholm has been promoted to senior vice president of analytics and market development.
