Genband has announced a partnership with F5 Networks to deliver integrated SIP and Diameter signaling solutions. The QUANTiX Diameter Signaling Controller addresses surge in signaling traffic growth across IMS and LTE networks. The company also announced that it released GENBAND SPiDR, a WebRTC gateway. Deployed as a component of Genband’s Smart Core, Smart Edge and Smart Experience solutions, SPiDR enters product category based on emerging WebRTC and HTML5 technologies. 

Kontron today announced its cooperation with Deutsche Telekom. The goal of the partnership is the promotion of Kontron’s M2M solutions. The M2M partnership extends Kontron’s marketing and distribution channels and underlines its strategic investment to provide embedded computer-based solutions for the huge multiplicity of industrial grade M2M applications. 

Mocana and VeliQ today announced a strategic partnership to integrate the Mocana Mobile App Protection (MAP) solution into VeliQ’s mobility Platform as a Service to enable enterprise IT to secure mobile apps and their data without having to write any code. Offered by VeliQ as MobiDM Mobile App Protection by Mocana, the companies say MAP will deepen the security offering of the VeliQ cloud-based mobility Platform as a Service (mPaaS) solution, and will enable enterprises to quickly add fine-grained usage and security policies to iOS and Android apps and speed app deployment, especially in highly-regulated markets such as financial services, healthcare and government. 

Quortus today announced that it has added LTE support to its flagship SoftCore software mobile core product which already supports 3G and GSM. The company says SoftCore allows voice and data requests to be handled locally where possible saving on backhaul costs and use of the traditional core all the while improving user experience. It can be installed on macro cells, small cells and on commodity hardware in either the traditional core or the cloud.
