HP Enterprise Services has announced a new global agreement with SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) through which it will deliver managed mobility services to help clients convert customer interactions into revenue opportunities and improve employee productivity with mobile applications. HP says its Managed Mobility Services for the SAP Mobile Platform help clients quickly visualize, plan, build, operate and secure mobile applications. The services leverage the SAP Mobile Platform, SAP Afaria mobile device management solution and an extensive portfolio of mobile applications. The result is an end-to-end mobile application platform that delivers business and consumer applications built with existing developer skills, tools and community resources.
According to a new research report from the analyst firm Berg Insight, the total value of the global real-time mobile location-based advertising and marketing (LBA) market will grow from €526 million in 2012 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 65 percent to €6.5 billion in 2017. This will then correspond to 32.8 percent of all mobile advertising and marketing. This means that location-based advertising and marketing will represent around 5 percent of digital advertising, or more than 1 percent of the total global ad spend for all media.

Redknee’s platform will support the utility to launch a 4G/LTE mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), enabling it to bring to market mobile services and to develop new service bundles and business models to differentiate itself from its competitors.
The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) issued finalized “Mobile Phone Creative Guidelines” at the IAB Mobile Marketplace conference in New York City. The “Mobile Phone Creative Guidelines” supplement the MMA’s “Universal Mobile Ad Package” (UMAP v 2.0). Additionally, the new guidelines provide directives to empower creative shops and publishers to employ mobile for more dynamic, rich consumer experiences. The guidelines also align with the IAB “Display Advertising Guidelines.”
