Allot Communications Ltd., a supplier of service optimization and revenue generation solutions for fixed and mobile broadband service providers worldwide, announced today that it has been awarded an approximately $6 million project from a Tier 1 operator which will be implemented in phases over several years. The project is based on Allot Service Gateway Parental Control Service. The project, awarded by a Tier-1 mobile operator in EMEA, highlights the importance mobile operators place on the cloud-based services which Allot’s product suite enable.

Belkin, creator of consumer technology products, today announced a multi-year licensing partnership with The LEGO Group to create accessories for mobile devices. Starting in spring 2013, Belkin will launch a variety of smartphone cases incorporating Belkin’s product design with LEGO bricks for a “buildable” case experience. Designed for LEGO fans of all ages, the initial product line will focus on iOS devices, including the iPhone and iPod touch, with plans to expand to other platforms over the course of the partnership.
