Quantenna Communications, Inc., the provider of video networking for whole-home entertainment, today announced that Swisscom started deploying to its broadband customers in Switzerland a new Quantenna based WLAN product: Magic-Box, which is a dual concurrent dual band router. The product features Quantenna 4x4 802.11n MIMO technology. It enables wireless streaming of video content throughout the home to multiple TVs as well as to tablets and smartphones.
Meru Networks, Inc., a provider of virtualized wireless LAN solutions, today announced that Essa Academy in the UK has deployed a Meru Wi-Fi network based on the Meru Education-Grade (MEG) wireless platform to connect more than 2,000 Apple devices issued to teachers and students.
