The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) today announced that Neal Mohan, vice president of display advertising for Google, has been named to the MMA Global Board of Directors.
MMA CEO Greg Stuart welcomed Mohan the board, calling him a “key industry leader and innovator.”
"I look forward to working with him and the full board to fulfill on our mission of making mobile an indispensible part of the marketing mix," Stuart said in a statement.
Mohan is responsible for Google's display advertising business, across desktop and mobile devices, which includes Google's DoubleClick and AdMob advertising solutions.
Prior to joining Google, Mohan was senior vice president of strategy and product development at DoubleClick.
Other members of the MMA Global Board of Directors include Cameron Clayton (EVP, The Weather Channel); Paul Palmieri (president, CEO and co-founder, Millennial Media); Barney Loehnis, (head of Digital, Asia Pacific, OgilvyOne Worldwide); Jack Philbin (president and co-founder, Vibes Media); Federico Pisani Massamormile, (CEO, HANZO); Melis Ertem (Media & Entertainment & Telco Services Division head, Turkcell).
