Cricket Communications prepaid products will hit shelves at nearly 1,600 Target stores on Sunday. The retail expansion is part of a strategy that began last year to grow nationwide distribution of Cricket's products. Target will carry two Cricket devices at launch, the Samsung Vitality and ZTE Score. Both are compatible with Cricket's Muve Music service.  

Alvarion said yesterday that CEO Eran Gorev will step down to "pursue other interests." Gorev, who led Alvarion's expansion into LTE and Wi-Fi offload, will be replaced by Hezi Lapid. The change becomes effective May 6. Lapid most recently served as chairman and CEO of Axerra Networks. 

Cox Communications' enterprise division is investing in InSite Wireless, an owner, operator and manager of wireless communication tower site facilities and distributed antenna systems in the United States, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. InSite will get 150 of Cox Communications towers and an undisclosed cash investment from Cox Enterprises. Financial terms of the deal were not announced. The deal is expected to close by the end of May. 

Futura Mobility is partnering with Mobiquity on products for its enterprise clients ranging from app development to social media. Futura specializes in managed services for mobile technology in the North American healthcare, enterprise and manufacturing sector. Mobiquity's specialties include mobile strategy, user-centered design, enterprise-system integration and mobile-application development, analytics, security and social media.
