Boost Mobile, one of Sprint’s prepaid brands, today announced a $30 Talk & Text Unlimited plan. The limited-time offer is available from March 29 through May 31, with three Boost Mobile phones, including the LG Rumor Reflex, Motorola Theory and Sanyo Innuendo from Kyocera.
With the plan, Boost offers incentives for on-time monthly payments. For every six on-time payments, customers will see their monthly payment shrink from $45 by $5, eventually getting down to as low as $30 a month for unlimited talk and text.
Payments do not need to be consecutive to qualify for the reduced prices and customers who activate on the offer during the promotional period will continue to keep the promotional plan as long as the account is active.
The new plan is in line with others on the market right now. Prepaid carrier Cricket from Leap Wireless offers a Basic plan inlcudes unlimited talk and text for $35.
AT&T’s GoPhone currently offers a $25 prepaid plan that includes 250 calling minutes and unlimited texts within the United States, and Virgin Mobile offers a $35 plan that includes unlimited web, data messaging, email and 350 minutes of calling time.
