ConvergenceNow Plus+ is Synchronoss Technologies’ latest update that allows such devices as media players, mobile computers, mobile Internet devices and mobile navigation devices to become wireless-enabled.

Using the platform, operators and OEMs can streamline subscriber account management, service activation and support for a variety of new emerging devices.

Besides activation and provisioning, ConvergenceNow Plus⁺ will support additional transactions and functions such as inventory management for emerging devices, trouble ticketing and product fulfillment.

In related news, Synchronoss’ Q3 profit fell more than 70% on declining revenue related to AT&T. In July 2007, the company signed a multiyear contract with the operator to provide ongoing operational support for the iPhone.
