U.S. Cellular and the Associated Press (AP) launched two mobile Websites that exercise a content distribution deal that offers a gateway to both AP’s Mobile News Network and AP Elections 2008 coverage.

Both sites are accessible through U.S. Cellular’s easyedge To Go, nWeb browser and Mobile Browser.

"AP is committed to producing quality news in a rich mobile experience on Election Day and beyond," said Jeffrey Litvack, AP’s general manager for mobile and emerging products, in a statement. “The Elections site will include coverage in U.S. Cellular markets in swing states such as Missouri and North Carolina. Once the race is over, fans can continue to satisfy their on-the-go news consumption with news from AP and its local member news providers through the Mobile News Network."

The AP Election site is only available to U.S. Cellular customers.
