Samsung Telecommunications America today announced the availability of the Samsung Messager (SCH-r450) to MetroPCS customers. The Messager offers a horizontal slider-design and QWERTY keyboard.

Available in black, the Messager features a 1.3-megapixel camera, SMS, MMS, e-mail and IM messaging capabilities, advanced voice recognition, Bluetooth and speakerphone. The Messager’s MP3 player has an external microSD slot that provides up to 2GB of memory support.
