Veteran wireless executive Peter Mannetti is the newest
managing partner for iSherpa Capital, a wireless venture capital firm in
Englewood, Colo. The former president and CEO of Qwest Wireless and vice
president of BellSouth Mobile Data joins co-founders and managing partners
Vipanj Patel and Gary Rohr. Mannetti also spent 18 years at General
Electric.
'In addition to being very successful with wireless technologies and
innovations at both Qwest Wireless and BellSouth Mobile Data, he has a national
reputation for technological innovation and applications through his national
and international work with GE,' Patel said in a statement about Mannetti's
appointment.
iSherpa offers capital, strategic guidance and industry contacts. The firm
plans to expand its role with its client companies.
