NTT DoCoMo has inked a $70 million deal to acquire Singapore-based
inter-touch, an Internet service provider.
The Japanese operator was attracted to inter-touch for its delivery of both
wireless and wired LAN broadband services. The company's broadband connectivity
services span 155 hotels in 28 countries.
The purchase will beef up DoCoMo's offering to business customers traveling
to hotels in the Asia-Pacific and European regions.
