Building Better Backhaul
Originally Aired: May 25, 2011
With mobile traffic projected to grow 30X by 2015 and video being a big part of that, service providers are motivated to make sure their backhaul has the capacity to handle the load. To meet these unprecedented demands, cable MSOs and other service providers are entering the game, offering wholesale solutions to help wireless operators.
This session will explore the increasingly critical role of backhaul and how networks are being designed to address service reliability and scalability requirements in the shift to an all-IP/Ethernet architecture using IP, microwave and optical equipment. The format will be a Q&A discussion between moderator and panelists, with audience engagement encouraged.
