T-Mobile has expanded its VoIP Hotspot@Home offering in Seattle and Dallas, with Talk Forever Home Service. The service piggybacks off a customer’s home broadband connection and offers a new Linksys router that has two phone jacks and accepts SIM cell authentication modules for each line, meaning users can now use traditional landline phones as well as their cell phones.

The router costs $49, service is $10 per line, per month for unlimited calls within the country and includes caller ID, 3-way conferencing, call forwarding and other features commonly offered with landline and cell services.

T-Mobile’s HotSpot@Home plans require a minimum $40 per month voice calling plan. The carrier currently has four handset modules that are compatible with the dual-mode service, but the carrier has said it expects to have 10 compatible handsets by the fall.
