Exec: Samsung has a Smart Watch in the Works

Even though Apple’s smart watch plans have yet to be confirmed, rival Samsung has gone on record saying it has an answer in the works for the Cupertino’s rumored device. Lee Young Hee, executive vice president of Samsung’s mobile business, told Bloomberg that Samsung has been preparing a watch product for “so long.” He offered no additional details about the watch.

PCIA Moves Fall Show to Spring in 2014

Barclays Opens Coverage of Leap Wireless on a Sour Note

Barclays began its coverage of Leap Wireless, parent company of Cricket Wireless, by slapping an underweight tag on the prepaid carrier and putting the price target (PT) at $4. Leap’s stock today is down more than two percent. Barclays follows a number of downgrades for Leap, including JP Morgan Chase downgrading from neutral to underweight.
