Defense contractor L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. said Monday it was awarded a $20.9 million contract to build four flight simulators for F-16 fighter jets at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
The order is the second batch of four simulators that the U.S. Air Force has ordered from L-3, the company said.
Under a current program, the U.S. Air Force could order as many as 20 batches of four simulators each for delivery to the U.S., Europe and the Pacific.
L-3 shares were down 27 cents at $92.05 in afternoon trading Monday.
