AT&T is expanding and upgrading its wireless network in Virginia.
The company said Thursday that it plans to add nearly 70 cell sites in the state. More than 200 existing cell sites will be upgraded to 3G and capacity will be enhanced at sites across the state.
AT&T says the improvements are part of an $18 billion to $19 billion companywide capital investment this year.
