Gen-i Offers Globys' Splitview Billing Solution

Globys, a provider of customer experience solutions, today announced that Gen-i, a member of the Telecom New Zealand Group, has deployed Globys SplitView among its business customers.

Branded through Gen-i as "Cost Manager Mobile," Globys' SplitView solution essentially divides a user's bill between personal and business expenses and then distributes the associated invoices.

The solution includes an online interface for defining policy rules among a company, group or specific individual and helps businesses recoup an employee's personal costs, while allowing employees to fully use their business device as they see fit.

For example, a telecom manager may define personal charges for the sales team as any data charges in excess of $20 per month, contact to anyone outside of client and corporate directories, and any weekend use.  The solution's automated technology then applies the cost rules each month and invoices are divided and distributed according to corporate and personal liabilities.

"With the growth of enterprise mobile usage and data-intensive devices, the ability for Gen-i to offer our business customers an efficient way to manage the cumbersome process of split billing is highly valuable," said Joe Caccioppoli, Gen-i head of Product Marketing, in a statement.
