Mobile application developer MeLLmo has raised an additional $10 million from private investors in its third funding round.
The money will help the company respond to demand for its Roambi mobile business app for the iPhone or iPad, which turns reports and data into dashboard-style visualizations. MeLLmo’s free app works with the company’s online publishing services and its ES3 server technology.
“As the workforce becomes more mobile, MeLLmo is helping enterprises and small to medium sized businesses take full advantage of the iPhone and iPad as business tools,” said Santiago Becerra, chairman and co-founder of MeLLmo, in a statement. “Our third round of funding will allow us to expand globally, delivering Roambi to a worldwide market.”
MeLLmo was founded in January 2008 and has gone through three funding rounds to raise a total of $20 million. The company recently decided to integrate its Roambi technology with top business intelligence systems and data sources including IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Endeca, Google and Salesforce.
