Network analytics company Carrier IQ has landed $12 million in Series D financing from its latest funding round.

The funding round was led by Bridgescale Partners, with participation from existing investors Intel Capital, Mohr Davidow Ventures, Accel Partners, Charles River Ventures and Nauta Capital.

"As the mobile industry rapidly moves to smartphones, we believe that Carrier IQ is well positioned to enable global operators and device manufacturers to have real-time network visibility in order to improve consumer experiences," said Matthew Cowan, Bridgescale co-founder and managing director, in a statement.

The funding will support Carrier IQ's expansion, marketing activities and investments in new features and applications. Carrier IQ says its analytics platform supports millions of devices simultaneously to provide operators with detailed metrics about the customer experience.
