MobileMax Releases Google Voice Application

Posted In: Technology | Sprint Nextel

MobileMax, a provider of unified communication (UC) and fixed mobile convergence (FMC) technologies, has launched the GVdialer, a mobile application for Google Voice.

The application supports iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, Windows Mobile and Nokia Symbian mobile phones.

The GVdialer application enables users to make calls using their Google Voice account directly from their mobile phone's native contacts, call log and keypad. Users of the application then have all of the Google Voice features available on their phone.

The application is available for download from the Mobile Max Web site or from the iTunes App Store.

The release of the GVdialer application comes ahead of the actual release of the Google Voice service, which is still in beta testing and currently available only to Grand Central users. The Google Web page for the upcoming voice service promises a full rollout within “a matter of weeks.”

Users can either download the free trial version of GVdialer or the full paid version. The free trial version is limited for 30 days and includes all the features of the paid version.

The full paid version has a one-time fee of $9.99 and includes all future versions and features. iPhone users can buy the GVdialer paid version for only $2.99 from the Apple App Store, which includes future version updates.
