• ChaCha announced that advertising veteran Rob Wilk will assume the role of vice president of advertising sales, reporting directly to CEO Scott Jones. Wilk will oversee national advertising sales from ChaCha's new Manhattan office.

• Vantrix launched Vantrix Media Profiler, which delivers converged content provisioning and management across wireless, cable and broadband networks.

• Shazam says it has embedded its music discovery/management technology in two Samsung models, the M7600 and the M6710, which were announced at Mobile World Congress. The new phones initially will include the Find Similar and Find Tag features to give customers a better music experience. 

• Kirusa, in partnership with Tetco-Voxpilot, announced a Video SMS product. Video SMS is the first in a series of 3G initiatives being developed by Kirusa as an extension to its current flagship Voice SMS offering.
