T-Mobile USA reportedly is evaluating its pricing plans and considering unlimited data plans to accompany the recently launched G1 Android, produced by HTC.

According to several media sources, T-Mobile USA may introduce a plan for $34.99 a month for unlimited data and messaging across its portfolio. Smartphones such as the G1 and BlackBerry will be soft-capped at 10 GB of usage, after which speeds will be limited to 50 kbps.

These plans will offer unlimited text messages at a rumored cost of $35 a month.

Although T-Mobile USA did not comment on the new pricing plans, word on the street suggests there could be formal announcements in the coming weeks.
