SAN FRANCISCOFusionOne has built a content developer network that makes licensed content from member companies compatible with the company’s MightyBackup Content service.

Besides backing up and migrating contacts as users change their devices, they also can back up their content. Users then do not have to re-download their favorite applications to their new devices. The network is open to content developers worldwide that work with operators using Fusion One’s backup services.

The company also announced partnerships with five new mobile content providers. They are Bonfire Media, Go TV Networks, MobiTV, Networks in Motion and Sonic Boom. Content from these companies will now work with MightyBackup Content service, ensuring migration of subscribers’ licensed content.
