Beginning today, TV viewers will start seeing Alltel Wireless’ “Chad” in a new light.

The new ad, airing on national cable networks and location stations throughout Alltel’s footprint, show Chad and the “sales guys” as children, played by child actors that bear a resemblance to their adult counterparts. The spot shows the “sales guys” when they were kids, questioning a young Chad about sharing lemonade.

Called “Lemonade Stand,” the spot was developed by Campbell-Ewald Detroit, the same firm that worked on earlier Chad spots. The commercial plugs Alltel’s “My Circle” calling feature that allows customers to share minutes with the whole family. Customers can add lines to their plan for $9.99 per month.

Alltel announced plans on June 5 to be acquired by Verizon Wireless. Alltel has more than 13 million customers.
